Why are you here?

In the natural order of life in our universe, everything is part of a cycle. Even the earth itself. Through time these cycles run their course, organisms adapt and evolve, as does our geography and climate. Time is measured through change.

But if ghosts are truly existing, then they should have a source. And if they have a source, what is it comprised of? Maybe some levels of existence aren't subject to change like everything physical. If that were a factor, it could exist forever, just simply being, waiting to react. Being that it is something we do not have the answers for yet, we are left to speculate and wonder.

So how do ghosts come about
? Perhaps there is a celestial influence. Perhaps it is a glimpse of purgatory. Maybe it is the trifling of angels and demons. Personally I feel that ghosts are mutations. There is a large majority of our brain that we don't use yet. Perhaps some people are unique in that during certain traumatic times in their lives, they are somehow bonded to certain places spiritually. Somehow, something happened to these people in life, and their cycle went differently. A part of them was separated from their body perhaps.

I'm always curious to hear other opinions.

  1. Here are some of my theories. According to spiritual and now scientific sources the universe itself is composed of energy. When the body dies the energy that kept that body moving, acting, thinking, etc, doesn't just fizzle up and disappear. Often it moves into another state of being, and perhaps occasionally it sticks around, unaware that it no longer lives in the flesh. I think its also possible for people to leave imprints of themselves in certain places that have a highly emotional signficance. People who are sensitive to energies may see images of the person, especially if the person has died.
